She went to John Marshall High School from which she matriculated in the mid- ‘70s, and then enrolled at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and graduated with a degree in theater and acting in 1978. She even furthered her studies and obtained a master’s degree from UCLA four years later.

Anne-Marie’s career started when she was 11 years old, when in 1971 she appeared in the TV crime-drama series “Homicide”. Two years later, Anne-Marie secured her next appearance, as Susan Marshall in another crime-drama series “Division 4”.
