Raid your enemies, grow your settlement, and build your political power in your quest to earn your place among the gods in Valhalla.
Ubisoft finally officially revealed the next upcoming Assassin’s Creed title, Valhalla after it was leaked and a year without an Assassin’s Creed installment.
Sail across the icy North Sea to discover and conquer the broken kingdoms of England. Immerse yourself in activities like hunting, fishing, dice, and drinking games, or engage in traditional Norse competitions like flyting – or, as it’s better known, verbally devastating rivals through the art of the Viking rap battle.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is set to launch Holiday 2020, supposedly around the same time that the new consoles are also slated to be released. Specifically, the Xbox Series X.
Available Holiday 2020 on Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Stadia and PC.

The Familiar System in Maplestory is a system where when some monsters are defeated, they might drop a familiar card that can then be used to use summon that monsters as an ally. The Familiar System is now much more robust, complex, grindy and rewarding than it’s previous iteration but this has opened up to many more opportunities for Nexon to introduce new bugs and to monetize this new system.
The familiar card then can be used in the player’s Use inventory registering the familiar into Roro, the Familiar Codex. After registering a Familiar to the Familiar Codex, players can then summon that familiar into Battle.
Familiar Summon Gauge
While the Familiars are summoned, they will deplete the Summon Gauge. The rate that the Summon Gauge depletes depends on the total sum of your summoned Familiars’ Defenese. That means having 3 familiars active at once will always make the Summon Gauge deplete slow than just having 1 or 2 active. This Summon Gauge gets reset back to full at midnight of everyday.
Initially players can only summon 1 familar but you can unlock the remaining 2 through:
- Slot 2: Unlocked by completing a quest after collecting your first Familiar Badge.
- Slot 3: Unlocked by completing a quest after collecting 10 Familiar Badges.
Familiar Potentials
Originally these Familiars had a fixed potential ability but as of the revamp, every new Familiar will grant 2 potentials where one is based on their current rank and other based is on the previous rank. Players can then roll their Familiar’s potential to get a multitude of abilities such as (but not limited to):
- MaxHP +10
- MaxMP +5
- LUK +2
- DEX +2
- STR +2
- INT +2
- All Stats (STR/DEX/INT/LUK) +2
- DEF +10
- Weapon ATT +2
- Magic ATT +2
- Speed +2
- Jump +2
- MaxHP +2%
- Magic ATT +3%
- All Stats (STR/DEX/INT/LUK) +1%
- Weapon Attack +3%
- Damage +3%
- DEF +2%
- Critical Rate +3%
- Ignore Enemy DEF +15%
- Chance to recover HP/MP
- All Skill
You may even get some Potentials that don’t add any stats and is solely cosmetic.
Familiars that were registered before the Familiar Revamp retain their set potential abilities.
Familiar Rarities
Familiar Rarities range from Common, Rare, Epic, Unique and Legendary with higher rarity familiars being harder to obtain because they will have better stats and abilities associated with them. Currently, Legendary Rarity Familiars can only be obtained by spending money using Red Familiar Cards.
Familiar Levels
While a Familiar is summoned, it will gain 1 exp for every monsters killed within your level range. Familiars that are not of Unique or Legendary rarity can only reach a maximum level of 5. Familiar will level up when they reach the EXP thresholds below:
- Lv. 2: 300 EXP
- Lv. 3: 600 EXP
- Lv. 4: 1,200 EXP
- Lv. 5: 2.400 EXP
Familiars of Unique or Legendary rarity can be level up to a maximum of Level 7 by using a Familiar Breakthrough Card which increases the maximum level by 1. These can be obtained in the Cash Shop and 2 must be used to reach Level 7. Familiar will level up when they reach the EXP thresholds below:
- Lv. 6: 2,600 EXP
- Lv. 7: 2,800 EXP
Familiar Stat Bonuses
Here are the Attack Power & Defense bonuses that a Familiar of a certain rarity and level will provide:
Level Increase | Common and Rare | Epic | Unique | Legendary |
---|---|---|---|---|
1 -> 2 | +0 Min / +1 Max | +0 Min / +2 Max | +0 Min / +2 Max | +1 Min / +3 Max |
2 -> 3 | +0 Min / +1 Max | +0 Min / +2 Max | +1 Min / +3 Max | +1 Min / +3 Max |
3 -> 4 | +0 Min / +2 Max | +1 Min / +2 Max | +1 Min / +3 Max | +2 Min / +4 Max |
4 -> 5 | +1 Min / +2 Max | +1 Min / +3 Max | +2 Min / +4 Max | +2 Min / +4 Max |
5 -> 6 | N/A | N/A | +3 Min / +7 Max | +4 Min / +8 Max |
6 -> 7 | N/A | N/A | +5 Min / +10 Max | +8 Min / +12 Max |
Ranking up Familiar Rarities
A Familiar’s rarity can be increased up to Unique once a Familiar’s level has reached level 5. Once the Familiar’s Level reaches Level 5, you can use Fusion to fuse duplicates to increase the Familiar’s Rank-Up Points depending on duplicate’s rarity.
- Common Familiar: 1 Rank-Up Point
- Rare Familiar: 2 Rank-Up Points
- Epic Familiar: 3 Rank-Up Points
- Unique Familiar: 4 Rank-Up Points
- Legendary Familiar: 5 Rank-Up Points
The Rank-Up points can then be spent to attempt an Rank-Up for your familiar at these rates:
- Common -> Rare: 50 Rank-Up Points, 100% chance of success
- Rare -> Epic: 100 Rank-Up Points, 80% chance of success
- Epic -> Unique: 150 Rank-Up Points, 40% chance of success
Familiar Badges
This is a new mechanic introduced through the Familiar revamp. Players can now receive a Familiar Badge by collecting Familiars within a certain region. These Badge will provide bonuses stats to the player but only a maximum of 8 Badges out of the current 38 Badges can be equipped at once.
All the stats from badges are stackable except for:
- Chance to recover HP/MP
- All Skill
Here are all the current available Badges with their respective stats:
- Starter Badge: MaxHP +5
- Snowflake Badge: MaxHP +5
- Oppressor Badge: MaxHP +5

- Rare: 15 Familiar Points
- Epic: 30 Familiar Points

Awakened Enhancement is another level of improvement that you can apply to your mystical gear and above (orange & red) gear after it reaches enhancement level of +40. Awakened Enhancements has a maximum enhancement level of X (+10).
Awakened Enhancement is different from the original enhancement in that there is no way to guarantee the enhancement to be successful and the boost is much substantial.
Each enhancement level has a fixed base success chance but can be increases by a flat +10% or +50% using one of two types of Advice of Valks. If the Awakened Enhancements fails, the enhancement level will drop one level but that can be prevented with a 50% chance by using a varying amount of Restoration Scrolls.
This enhancement system also doesn’t use Black Stones, instead it uses Pristine Black Crystals which can be crafted at the Refinery in the camp by sacrificing Black Stones & Black Crystals to make them. The Pristine Black Crystals are made after it reaches 100% with each stone giving a different progress rate shown below:
Black Stone Type | Progress % |
---|---|
Poor Black Stone | +0.001% |
Fair Black Stone | +0.01% |
Good Armor Black Stone | +0.1% |
Grand Black Stone | +1.37% |
Black Crystal | +7.55% |
Refined Black Crystal | +19.62% |

Agris is an ancient Balenosian god of prosperity and abundance. You can inherit the power of the god of prosperity to activate Agris Fever, which increases the amount of junk items dropped when defeating monsters.
Agris Fever is a new mechanic for Lvl. 60+ Lvl. 56+ characters that increases junk item drop amount by a base amount of 100%. It is designed for players that play short intervals and players that don’t play everyday.
Agris Fever uses a point system where when a monster is defeated a certain amount of points is deducted from your Agris Fever gauge to get the drop amount bonus. The amount of points in your Agris Fever is replenished daily by a set amount and can be stacked up to a maximum limit. Agris Fever points are shared account wide.
Players now gain access to Agris Fever at Level 56. The amount of Agris Fever Points replenished daily at this point is 3,000 15,000 and the maximum amount of points is 10,000 50,000.
Changes to Agris Fever for completing Volumes of Book of Margahan are shown in this chart below:
Book of Margahan Vo. 1 | Reward |
Chapter 1 | Max Agris Fever points +5,000 |
Chapter 2 | Max Agris Fever points +5,000 |
Chapter 3 | Max Agris Fever points +5,000 |
Chapter 4 | Max Agris Fever points +10,000 |
Chapter 5 | Junk item drop amount +50% (When consuming Agris Fever points) |
Book of Margahan Vo. 2 | Reward |
Chapter 6 | Max Agris Fever points +5,000 |
Chapter 7 | Daily Agris Fever point recovery +2,500 |
Chapter 8 | Max Agris Fever points +10,000 |
Chapter 9 | Daily Agris Fever point recovery +2,500 |
Chapter 10 | Max Agris Fever points +10,000 |

Kizuna Clash is an occasional game mode that occurs in One Piece Treasure Cruise once a month that is independent of Treasure Maps where players will go against a boss.
The boss will have 3 difference variations that consist of different typing, effects, challenges and weaknesses. In order to fight the bosses, players will need to get Boss Tokens from the preliminary battle quests which takes Kizuna Points, the exclusive stamina tied to this gamemode. Kizuna Points have a maximum of 5 at any point and are replenished once every 2 hours but players can recharge 5 Kizuna Points by using a Kizuna Potion that is given out daily during a Kizuna Clash. The Kizuna Potions carry on to other Kizuna Clashes.
Once those preliminary battle quests are completed one, you can now skip the fight to directly get the Boss Tokens. Occasionally these will also yield Kizuna Tickets which are used to trade in for prizes alongside the Boss Tokens.
There will be 3 difficulties that players can challenge in the Kizuna Clash, each with different Token costs and different Base Kizuna Ticket reward:
- Elite – 8 Boss Tokens Cost | 4 Base Ticket Reward
- Masters – 15 Boss Tokens Cost | 6 Base Ticket Rewards
- Ultimate – 20 Boss Tokens Cost | 10 Base Ticket Rewards
After defeating a boss in Kizuna Clash, the Boss will gain an level increasing it’s damage and health. It will also rotate the Boss into a different variation, this rotation follows the same rotation every single time.
After a Boss reaches a certain level, the Kizuna Tickets that it will reward will be increased
If you are unable to defeat the Boss, you can ask for Assistance from your friends. If you are assisted or assist a friend, the Boss battle will start as usual but the Boss’ health will be what remained from your defeat. You can also re-enter the Boss Battle that you were defeated in and the Boss’ health will be what you left it at last time but this would charge you Boss Tokens to enter while assisting doesn’t.
After obtaining Kizuna Tickets, you can exchange them in at the Kizuna Exchange. The Kizuna Exchange is a Treasure Box of certain items, there are different rarity of items in the Box and if you are able to get the high rarity item, you may proceed to the next Box. Each Box will have a larger inventory meaning that you’ll have a lower chance of getting the highest rarity item.
There are usually a total of 7 Boxes where the first 6 contain rare and themed rewards that are exclusive to the current Kizuna Clash and the last box is full of rare manuals, tablets, jewels and CC that can be refreshed at anytime to refill the inventory. (My rule of thumb to reset is when I get less than 4 Gold chests per 10 pull, 3 times)
Unlike Treasure Map, there doesn’t seem to be a definitive time-line to which Kizuna Clash is going to be next as we have not followed the time-line set in the JP server.
Current Global Kizuna Clash Boss
Sometimes the Kizuna Clash Boss is the same as that Kizuna Clash reward but that is not often always the case. Such as when Zoro & Sanji is the Kizuna Clash but the reward is a special perospero. Also note that Zoro & Sanji card & jewels are almost always in the rewards, so I am not considering them as the reward below.
Current Global Kizuna Clash Reward
Captain Ability:
Boosts ATK of STR, DEX and PSY characters by 3x, recovers 5x character’s RCV in HP at the end of each turn.
Like a Nightmare: Brick Break:
Changes STR, DEX, QCK, PSY and INT orbs into STR orbs, locks all orbs for 1 turn, amplifies the effect of orbs on STR, DEX and PSY characters by 1.75x for 1 turn. After 2 turns, amplifies the effect of orbs on STR, DEX and PSY characters by 1.75x for 1 turn.
These are the future kizuna clashes that are coming in no particular order.

The remake features a full fledged modern remake of the original Final Fantasy 7 into modern graphics and tech. An option has also been added for the combat to be either real-time action with turn-based elements or the nostalgic turn-based.

The story of this first, standalone game in the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE project covers up to the party’s escape from Midgar, and goes deeper into the events occurring in Midgar than the original FINAL FANTASY VII.
