And amongst these relationships are the revolving stars of Mateo and Rufus, whose slow burn romance comes in a both comfortable and beautiful way. It was great to read from the POV's of other characters as well. Overall, abnormal, crazy and utterly weird are a few of the words I can think of to describe this book but I saw the trailer for the film the other day and though it looks tamer than the book, I will be seeing it. We are starting to have this narrative that we need to retire the coming out story, because we're in a generation where there's a lot more understanding and acceptance.
This one as well as the previous books, both were heartwarming throughout the journey of the plot as well as bittersweet towards the end.
