Bargain Hunt has been a cornerstone of British daytime TV ever since it first aired two decades ago in March, 2000.

Ever since, teams donning blue and red fleeces have been battling out at various antique shows to see who can bag the biggest profit.

More recently, presenter Christina Trevanion was stunned to come across a tribal mask that could be worth up to £2 million at auction.

But with many presenters coming and going over the years, who currently hosts the show?

Read on to find out all about the present hosts of the popular daytime show.

Who are the Bargain Hunt presenters?

Roo Irvine

Arusha 'Roo' Irvine signed up to become a Bargain Hunt expert five years ago in 2019.

However it would only be three years later that she would make her Bargain Hunt presenting debut.

On June 13, 2022, the Scottish presenter hosted the show for the first ever time during an antiques fair in Southwell Nottinghamshire.

But her TV appearances don't begin and end with Bargain Hunt, as the host has also featured on Antiques Road Trip, Flipping Profit, Pointless - and even Mastermind.

The antiques expert from Argyll and Bute opened her own shop in 2013 following the tragic and sudden passing of her father.

Regarding her experience hosting the show, she told the BBC: 'I love every second of it!

'It's a fabulous presenting team with each person bringing their own personality and style, so it's a real honour to join such a line-up!

'I feel like a conductor in an orchestra made up of experts, contestants and crew, and the joy lies in bringing them all together in harmony to make our very own Bargain Hunt music!'

Natasha Raskin Sharp

The most junior of the show's presenters, Natasha Raskin Sharp was born in Glasgow and is 37-years-old.

Hailing from Scotland, the host was raised in a family of creatives with her own father Philip Raskin cultivating quite the reputation as an artist.

Natasha studied History of Art at the University of Glasgow and later joined McTear's auction house.

Not only has she appeared on Bargain Hunt, the antiques pro has starred on Flog It and has even even a part of Barack Obama's Scottish contingent team during the 2008 primary elections.

According to Natasha, her favourite thing about the show is sightseeing and meeting contestants.

She added that the 'wonderful' and 'bubbly' contestants are who make the show entertaining.

Eric Knowles

Antique expert Eric Knowles (pictured 2023), who hails from Nelson, Lancashire, has made a range of appearancesGoing for a Song, Going, Going, Gone, Noel's House Party and more

Antiques expert Eric Knowles hails from Nelson in Lancashire England and was born on February 18, 1953.

Previously, he was the head of the ceramics department in Bonhams auction house in 1981.

His list of TV appearances are fairly lengthy having made cameos on Going for a Song, Going, Going, Gone, Noel's House Party, 20th Century Roadshow and Call My Bluff.

Beyond presenting Bargain Hunt, he has also hosted TV show Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is.

In July 2021 he launched his very own decorative art emporium in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

Similarly to Natasha his favourite part of the role is the contestants and also the guest experts, quipping that they are often old friends with 'boundless knowledge'.

Caroline Hawley

Although she left school when she was only a teenager she ended up bagging a place at the University of Hull and even a degree in French.

With a career that has lasted over three decades, Caroline opened the doors of her very own antiques shop in 1983 named Penny Farthing Antiques.

Similarly to other Bargain Hunt presenters she has also made appearances on Flog It and Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is.

Discussing the origins of her love antiques to The Yorkshire in 2019, Caroline explained that as a child she would often head to the tip to find treasures and broken bottles.

'To me, it was fascinating because everything told a story.

'I still love that aspect of the business, when I find something in, say, a house clearance or a valuation day, I always seem to look beyond any potential worth it may have.

'I think to myself 'Who owned this, who loved it, what is it telling me? What is the history here?'

Charlie Ross

He started out auctioning chickens and turkeys before eventually finding a love for antique furniture.

After this, he established an auction house of his very own in Woburn - a stones throw away from Milton Keynes.

However, in February 2008, the presenter has since taken a step back from running the auction house.

According to The Sun, the antiques expert is also an auctioneer at both the Arizona Scottsdale car auction and even the famous Californian auction house - Pebble Beach Vintage Car Auction.

Much like his fellow co-presenters he has also imparted his expert knowledge on Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is, Flog It and Antiques Road Trip.

Christina Trevanion

Christina Trevanion, who previously studied in Cheshire, is a television presenter as well as an auctioneer.

The Bargain Hunt presenter has been in the antiques business for just over ten years, owning her own Whitchurch-based auctioning firm Trevanion & Dean in Shropshire.

She has also previously done a stint at British auction house Christie's.

Christina has not only appeared on Bargain Hunt, Antiques Road Show and Flog It she has also taken the plunge to host new show - The Travelling Auctioneers with Will Kirk and JJ Chalmers.

Danny Sebastian

Although antiques pro Danny Sebastian has had a promising antiques career, he hasn't been as lucky with his health, announcing he had a health scare in 2019

Antiques expert Danny Sebastian first made his Bargain Hunt debut as an expert in 2017 and later became a regular host in 2022.

Danny has featured on a whole host of shows including, Antiques Adventure, Celebrity Mastermind, Flipping Profit, Celebrity Egghead and Cbeebies' Junk Rescue.

Despite his flourishing antiques career, Danny hasn't been so fortunate when it comes to his health.

In 2019 he had a scare revealing he had clogged arteries, however it was not confirmed that he had a heart attack.

After the scare, he took to X (formerly Twitter) to write: 'I thought I was #fit, I looked it, I felt it, I believed it, but internally I wasn't. Our arteries can get clogged up create problems+even death.

'We must #eat #healthy #exercise #sleep plenty & #stress little & NEVER #smoke.

'I'm #lucky but not all of us are. Look after yourself.'
